Four people are sat at two round desks as if on a TV talk show. Behind them is a banner with 'Inside Bitch'

Inside Bitch

A collaboration with playwright and performer Stacey Gregg.

What is lost when we try to tell a story?

“You’ve seen Orange is the New Black. You’ve seen Locked Up. You’ve seen Bad Girls.  So, what have we got that’s different? Well, for one, we’ve been to prison.”

Created by women who’ve been to prison, Inside Bitch was devised with and performed by Clean Break’s Members.  The show explores the West’s obsession with telling fictional stories about women in captivity, dismantling the very idea of turning trauma into entertainment.

“We’ve got the real shit, and trust me, it’s dark as fuck, and it will knock your socks off!”
