Baby Steps is a short play about giving birth during lockdown. It was commissioned, translated and directed by Ricardo Correia as the first in a quartet of short plays from European writers during lockdown. It’s published in Portuguese by Edicoes Humus as part of a collection called ‘Huis Clos: A Europa entre 4 Paredes’ (2022). The other plays were written by Vanesa Sotelo, Julia Holewinska and Maxi Obexer.
